Helping firms turn their proprietary data into
industry authority.

All firms have AI.
What don't they have?

AI's ubiquity and ease of use have produced unintended consequences: content that sounds the same, leans on clichés, and invites skepticism. We help firms stand apart by transforming their own data into industry-leading insights, the kind of intelligence that AI can't hallucinate.

What We Do

  • 01

You have data and need a plan for it.

We audit what you have, identify what's valuable, and map the best ways to use it. Your underlying data never has to leave your systems. You get a clear view and a prioritized plan.

    • Data audit and asset review
    • Organization and cleaning
    • Segmentation and structure
    • Prioritized roadmap
  • 02

You know your data and want something to show for it.

We turn your data into original research, such as a report, benchmark, or index that only you can publish, told through clear visuals and a strong narrative.

    • Original research reports
    • Benchmarks and indices
    • Newsletters and recurring series
    • Data visuals and narrative
  • 03

You have insights, and the market should hear them.

We build a blueprint for your voice: the message, the audience, the cadence, and the media strategy. You learn how to stand out in a noisy market.

    • Message and audience
    • Alignment with the larger narratives in your field
    • Mapping where you sit among peers, press, and analysts
    • Media targets and publishing cadence

Most engagements begin with Advisory.

Whom We Help

You may be a fit if

  • You have valuable data.
  • You lack the time or staff to turn it into something the market will notice.
  • You are credible in your product, but not yet known for your insight.

Typically fintech firms, start-ups, and data-rich platforms.

About

MV Data Strategy was founded by Matthew Vegari, a macroeconomist and data strategist. As Head of Research at Clearwater Analytics, Matthew built the firm's first proprietary research function, drawing on more than $10 trillion in assets and thousands of institutional client portfolios. His research and publications reached the front page of The Wall Street Journal and drew coverage from Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters, Barron's, and the BBC. Earlier in his career, he advised strategy leaders as an economist at Boston Consulting Group; served as a macroeconomic researcher in a large family office; and worked in the public sector. He is also a published fiction writer, which shapes how MV Data Strategy turns numbers into narrative.
